I've used TiddlyWiki as my personal notebook for a while now, and have found that renaming the file to .hta does a lot more than just make IE shut up. I like how it makes the address bar, status bar, and various toolbars go away. I've also found that adding the HTA:APPLICATION element to the head section through the MarkupPreHead tiddler lets me give it an icon, a name, and enforce a single instance per machine. In short, I want my wikis to ALWAYS be .hta files because of the extra "stuff" it gets me.
I have, however, found a bug. Closing a normal browser window with open tiddlers prompts you, and prevents closing if you select "Cancel". In an hta file I get the prompt, but clicking cancel makes no difference, the file is going to close no matter what, and I'm going to lose my changes. Does anyone know if there's a way to prevent this? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
