ummm... I think you mean TiddlyTools' QuickEditPackage...
..."EasyEdit" is a completely different plugin written by someone
else.

These buttons actually do display file-select dialog boxes... *if* you
are using either FireFox or IE.  However, most of the other common
browsers -- Safari, Opera, and Chrome -- don't have file I/O functions
so they instead fall back to using a simple 'prompt for input' dialog
to get a path/file or URL.
