RemindersPlugin uses the core search() function to search through all the tiddler text to find the reminders. SearchOptionsPlugin *extends* the core search() function to allow selective searching in any combination of titles, text, tags, shadows, etc. based on option settings (checkboxes) that are remembered using cookies (so the setting persists across sessions) I'm guessing that, at some time in the past, you might have configured the search options checkboxes to *not* search within the tiddler text (i.e., so you could search for just title, or tags, or whatever...)
