Did you figure it out? You need to modify your ViewTemplate. The crucial part is this, stick it down the bottom somewhere. It's designed to replace <div macro="tagging"></div>
<div class="tagglyTagging" macro="tagglyTagging"></div> But you won't get the full set of TT functionality this way. The easiest and best way to try tagglytagging is to fetch an mptw empty file. You can select the MptwStandard theme and it will look just like a standard TW.
