Arggh! Thank you so much e and F. I'd been editing and updating the OTHER files. When I read your post I went to empty.html and sure enough, none of the work I'd done yesterday was in it since I was modifying the wrong files. Now I know. I think I have now managed to learn how to open, save, edit and re-open a file. Whew that was a rough learning curve. Ironic, for a productivity tool.
