In the TiddlyManual project (http://imp.peermore.com/imp/recipes/imp/
tiddlers.wiki) that is being supported by TiddlyWeb and helped along
by Jeremy and Jon and Chris at Osmosoft, I am interested in how a
large complex manualized treatment can really influence what
practioners actually DO with their patients when they are working.
(there are many treatment manuals out there that practitioners like to
have on shelves, but which don't get read!) So i am interested in
whether they are actually reading the manualized content, and if so,
which bits they are reading, and which bits they are avoiding/
ignoring.
Is there a way of installing a simple "hit counter" on individual
tiddlers, so that a logged-on individual's browsing can be stored in
their own individualised TiddlyWeb "autodidact-bag" within that TW
file? This might be a bit Big Brotherish, but on the other hand,
might bring useful information for the practitioner to reflect upon in
supervision ("Hey Dave, it is curious that you are reading a lot about
the social-ecological interventions for your clinet Johnny, but almost
nothing about the psychodynamic ones - do you think that is because
you are less confident about the former, or that you don't enjoy doing
the latter?")
As a secondary thought, does anyone have any thoughts about how to
place a really simple feedback form at the bottom of each tidder ("How
helpful was this tiddler? - 0-1-2-3-4 ") Perhaps even better, would be
to set it up so that only by clicking on the feedback bar could you
close the tiddler) The feedback bar would feed this information back
into a bag held within that TW file, that could subsequently be
delivered up to the manual developers, so that content could be
adjusted and improved.
Any thoughts or help welcome.
