I tried to combine the best of these two themes, which for themself alone do work with IE at their original sites:

Two major bugs: # The max-width of the main menu defined by 'Overflow style' inadvertently determines the width of tiddler and sidebar display together and which are placed below the main menu. If the max-width is removed, both still remain below the main menu, but extent to where usually the sidebar starts. # Only the default tiddlers show on startup, and only the second menu is switched without opening a new tiddler. While menu buttons 3 to 5 don't have any effect at all.
