thanks guys: wolfgang: i've moved all my content to fumarole, so it's about ~4 mb right now. the reason tiddlywiki was slowing down was because i had "auto save" and "save a backup" enabled, so any time I saved a tiddly it would freeze the browser for about ~7 seconds. i'll work on making a demo video and putting it on the website.
tobias: yikes! i should mention, I've only tested on firefox 3... so certainly more cross-browser testing is needed. i can assure you none of those issues crop up on firefox. F: didn't know that, but look forward to any future tiddlywiki releases... cheers, imran On Jun 27, 10:10 am, FND <[email protected]> wrote: > > I decided to improve upon it by creating something: [...] > >http://akbars.net/fumarole > > That sounds like an interesting experiment! > I can't take a look right now (on the road... ), but we're always happy > to see people being inspired by TiddlyWiki and reusing the code. > > By the way: Are you aware that TiddlyWiki recently started making use of > jQuery?
