I believe that this issue was fixed, but got left out of the more recent updates. http://trac.tiddlywiki.org/ticket/873 says that it was fixed in http://trac.tiddlywiki.org/changeset/9465#file0
But none of the updated code is contained in the 2.5.2 version of TW.
