Those 'buttons' are actually the results of having 'merged' two copies of QuickEdit_replace. This would have occurred if you updated the tiddlers using TiddlyTools' ImportTiddlerPlugin, and used the option to combine existing and 'inbound' tiddlers when their titles collide.
