Generating genuine word doc.s sounds pretty ambitious. But if your
formatting needs are simple, it might be possible for someone to
create an RTF output. Hmm. Even that's a bit ambitious.

There are several html2rtf converter programs out there. It looks like
there's even one (possibly free) html2word converter. So if you can
output your document as html, you should be able to convert it to RTF
or basic word format to pass on.

Now that I think about, if you paste HTML formatted text into word,
doesn't it retain formatting these days? (obviously, I'm not running
word!)
