Hi there, I'm interested in finding some guitarists who would like to test out a guitar tab plugin for TiddlyWiki, and help provide feedback on how it could be improved. If that sounds like you, read on... please!
The idea of using a wiki as a music notebook is not new, but it's a pain to work with ASCII approximations of proper notation. I recently put together a TiddlyWiki plugin that performs inline, automatic rendering of chord charts and guitar tab notation. It basically integrates an open source "jTab" library to perform the image rendering, and defines a simple macro for notation. e.g. a basic chord sequence is written like this: <<jtab 'Am7 / Dm7 Em7 |'>> ... but is rendered into chord charts If you are interested in testing this out, you can get it - and more information - at http://jtab.tardate.com/jtabtwiki-help.htm Regards, Paul --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
