The problem originated with your use of extraneous leading whitespace in your header text: !!!! foobar instead of !!!!foobar Although you could avoid the problem just by removing the leading space so your syntax conforms to the typical usage, I've revised the plugin code to trim the unnecessary whitespace when generating output, so that the sectionTOC links will work regardless of the unexpected whitespace.
