The two kinds of 'comments' are unrelated to each other...

The comment markers /% ... %/ are used to skip over the enclosed
content to prevent it from being rendered when the tiddler is
displayed, while the [[AddANote]] command is used to insert pre-
formatted 'commentary' into the tiddler so it *can* be rendered.
