Normally, I add this to my StyleSheet:
.toolbar { float:right; }
alternatively, you could specify the style inline in the ViewTemplate:
<span class='toolbar' style='float:right' macro='toolbar
[[ToolbarCommands::CollapsedToolbar]]'></span>
