I'm reposting this announcement from the tiddlywikidev group last week. We've had a good response to the beta so far in terms of resolving problems with filesaving and importing. It would be useful to give the beta some wider testing, but as usual please exercise caution before entrusting it with irreplaceable data.

Conversely, this is a beta release, so exercise caution before entrusting it with irreplaceable data. The major changes for this release are: * Fixed problems in 2.5.2 with saving/loading and importing tiddlers * Fixed problem with lack of confirmation prompt when cancelling editing on new and shadow tiddlers * Improved feedback on dynamic loading of tiddlers It's worth saying a bit more about the fix for the problems we've had in 2.5.2 with the refactored file loading/saving code. I recognise that we released the revised code without enough testing, which led to many people experiencing problems with that release. This time around I feel it is best to be a little more conservative, and so we've pulled back to the previous, pre-2.5 file code.
