Ok - Thanks for the answer I think that the core's <<edit>> macro should support this. Where do I go with my request? -
I think it is pretty obvious/logical that it should be possible to edit one tiddlers content (fields) from another tiddler. This is where the magic - Lego-like nature of TiddlyWiki comes in. When you are able to compose the layout of viewtemplates from pieces of different tiddlers - and work on them directly from templated tiddlers - it is possible to do things which are close to what you imagine .... if you don't have the ability - travelling around from tiddler to tiddler is a neccesary workaround and seems to be a little redundant - especially for newcommers..
