In my quest to be able to save TW on my n97 Symbian phone I have made some progress. By wrapping TW in a widget I can get access to persistant storage for javascript variables, but not access to the file system. I have witten a couple of plugins that save and load the storeArea div to/from a persistant widget variable. My question is; what is the best way to force TW to load the tiddlers from the storeArea to the store (and the reverse)?
Other ideas on how to use the widget would be welcome; I could save the store itself but that sounds risky. An interesting side effect from using a widget is that it gives TW macros access to the device javascript API. This enables access to contacts, calandar, photos, messaging, location and so on the phone.
