Unfortunately, even with a "capcha" on the sign-up, it seems that
GoogleGroups sometimes lets spammer bots sign up with obviously
generated names and fake email addresses.

Fortunately, as manager of this group, I usually get a chance to
moderate incoming messages from new users, so I can delete the spam
and ban the fake users. As a result, even though I have to deal with
it on a daily basis, almost none of this kind of spam ever gets to the
rest of the list.

In this particular case, the spammer sent a blast of messages to both
the TiddlyWiki and TiddlyWikiDev groups. Although I flushed the
messages and banned the user, somehow one of the messages still
appeared on the list -- even though the user was banned -- and had to
be deleted after being posted.
