Fortunately, as manager of this group, I usually get a chance to moderate incoming messages from new users, so I can delete the spam and ban the fake users. As a result, even though I have to deal with it on a daily basis, almost none of this kind of spam ever gets to the rest of the list. In this particular case, the spammer sent a blast of messages to both the TiddlyWiki and TiddlyWikiDev groups. Although I flushed the messages and banned the user, somehow one of the messages still appeared on the list -- even though the user was banned -- and had to be deleted after being posted. -e --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
