I've just tested NoteStorm - and my tabs *do* remember that I'm
editing them. I had 6 different tiddlers in editmode, several of them
with changed content - without any conflict - even if I jumped around
and made new tiddlers on the fly.

You can see that there's an exclamationsmark on the tabs, when they
are in editmode.

If you have (by any chance) refreshed the display and the active tab
*looks* as if it is in ViewMode even if it has an exclamationsmark,
then you click on the tab, directly on the exclamationmark - and the
tiddler will be saved.

I've made my test with Google Chrome. Which browser are you using?
