TiddlyFellows, I am writing a blog post [1] about the joys of minimal test cases (MTCs) after achieving grade A+ from Eric (see below). I am writing about it in context of creativity. I think it has benfits beyond the solving of the problem at hand.
I'd be interested in getting input or comments from Tiddlyfans either on the list here or on the blog. Any thoughts on minimal test cases are urgently required! Alex "Your MTC was A+!!!! You started with a default tiddler that explained what you were trying to do and how the test case was set up (which tiddlers, etc). Then, you clearly defined your goals in visual terms, by simulating the desired result through hand-edited TW formatting and went step by step through the various ‘minimal’ cases, building up to the point of error. Thanks so much! That was a pleasure to read! Now… here’s some answers:" [1] http://hough.tm.mbs.ac.uk/creativity/tao-in-the-art-of-the-minimal-test-case/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
