Hello everyone:
I am searching for autolinking that will recognize several words, not
just single words.
That is my simple question. An elaboration follows if you are
interested.
I have discovered the redirectMacro and it seems to be exactly what I
want for note taking. The one challenge is that many of the things I
may type are more than one word. If I have two type the work in
CamelCase or notate the word in any way as I'm typing it defeats the
purpose, seeing as I want to be cued that I already have a tiddler on
something.
The value of autolinking phrases for me would be that if I type:
Valium is a frequently used for status epilepticus.
It will auto link Valium and status epilepticus, cuing me that I
already have some information on these two topics. This turns a great
note-taking tool into a learning tool, because I may be just learning
about diazepam (Valium) but took notes on status epilepticus two
semesters ago. In medicine, there are many many mullti-word drugs and
diagnosis. Also, several brand names of drugs, for example, may need
to link to a single tiddler with info on the generic.
Any suggestions?
I have RTFM to the best of my ability, but I think I may be
conceptually missing some of the key terms/ideas. I will continue
reading!
Thanks,
Jerimiah
