Hi All In another post today, (SaveAsPlugin) I explained that I am wanitng to have students store data tiddlers as purestore files, rather than bloating out the "portal" TW.
Within this system I also have some tiddlers that need to be stored on my server and not the students' local disk (some of the work is private - learing journal, while other parts are public - the learning portfolio..). Upload plugin lets me store a tiddler to a purestore file on-line. The challenge is for the system to know which new tiddlers will be stored locally (using saveAs) and which will be uploaded (UploadTiddlerFromFile).....I can include both saveAs and UploadTiddler buttons in the tiddler toolbar.....and hope the students press the right one at the right time !!!!!! OR .... is there some way the system can know (by tags...fields ?) when to activate SaveAS and when to use Upload???? (upload can be turned on by chkUploadTiddlerFromFile.....but how to similarly "turon on/off" SaveAs???
