Recently there was a discussion of global variable on github by @flibles https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/pull/4108
It was recommended to less use of global macros (those tagged with $:/tags/Macro) So, I have started to revise some my plugins with 10s or more of global vars!
