Do you mean somthing like this? * Python is a widely used multi purpose programming/scripting language available for free. * Linux: on most Linux distributions Python is pre-installed or can be added easily with the distribution specific package manager. * Windows: download it from https://www.python.org and install it. You can safely accept the default install options. It eats up some of your disk space, adds new entries to your start menu, but has no impact otherwise. Except that you now can create and/or run Python programs, twserver.py for example.
