Thanks for your prompt response Måns, that plugin does indeed look like it will solve the problem for me.
However, now I have a new problem! After installing the plugin I don't see an "alias" box under the "tags" box, even though I can see that it has been added to EditTemplate. I assume this is because I am using MPTW, and maybe the MPTW themes mean EditTemplate isn't actually used? If this is the case, what should I edit in order to get the alias box to show up? Thanks!
