Hi, The problem with CSS numbering is, that it can change if a tiddler is transcluded. So if you do reference eg: 48.a from an other tiddler, IMO it would be much better, to use "hyperlinks" to tiddler titles and heading names.
CSS is very flexible. So you can do stuff like this: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/CSS_Lists_and_Counters/Using_CSS_counters BUT it's also very "brittle". ... Most of the time, we create lists dynamically based on tags or fields.
