I've been very happy using waterfox classic as a browser. It is based
on the older firefox code and runs the TiddlyFox extension quite
happily. It also has the advantage of running other extensions that
died when firefox changed such as Tab Mix Plus, which I really missed
when Firefox forcibly removed it from my browser. This doesn't require
installing anything else in the least bit techie to keep your
tiddlywikis alive.

I have two fallbacks in case I loose that option in the future. One is
tiddly desktop, but it doesn't really fit with the way I use TW. I
need it to be in a browser tab. The other is MainTiddlyServer, but
that requires having php installed and running. I discovered I can use
php's internal server & don't need apache and all the security issues
it could create. Installing php isn't so hard.
