Tony, thanks for the tip. That way I don't have to turn off CamelCase.
I tried to use the syntax <$text text={{!!surname}} /> in a text box, replacing
"surname" with McLeod, but in the Read mode nothing is rendered.
Obviously I did not use the syntax in the right place, so please correct me.
My apologies for asking such a basic question.
