Hi there,

I'm new to the TiddlyWiki world. I want to use the tiddly wiki for my
research where I want to write short summaries of research papers with a
link to pdf. Additionally, I would also like to annotate pdfs.
What do you guys recommend in terms of workflow I should follow.

Right now, I plan to follow the below
1. Download pdfs in a central folder
2. Use external links in my toddlers to these pdfs
3. View them directly from toddlers by clicking the link (opens in web
browser, but sadly can't annotate there)
3. Annotate pdfs in my system pdf software (by going to the path and
opening them)

I plan to use WikiFolders since they allow working with separate files
rather than one monolithic file.

In this workflow, there are several ways to make it smooth
1. Automatically drag-drop pdfs and has them as external links. Any
pointers how this can be achieved?
2. (more important) While viewing, instead of a browser extension, if I can
open the pdf in my system application to view, then I can avoid the hassle
in step4. Can this be achieved? Technically, it think, that the server
should be able to spawn the application with the certain link (instead of
the browser). Any pointers on how to do this?
