That's the beauty of closed source... amazing how they still get away with it.
:o) At one time I actually bought OneNote 2003 as an oem version, but in the end... it turned out to be a waste of time and money, as I never quite (got) used (to) it. Up until today, I prefer keynote, dunno if you know that neat little piece of freeware, whose development is unfornutately stalled since quite a few years... which was/is in all it's simplicity about just as powerful as one note... in terms of what I intend to do with it. Though keynote is facing ever more competition form all my tiddlywikis... I even converted much of the content with surprisingly good results.... in terms of manageablity of knowledge bits. So eventually, the benefit of Microsoft Office Products seems to lack behind ever more visibly... if TiddlyWeb was a bit more mature in terms of it being dummy proof (like XAMPP) ...that would be it then as for my information management needs combined with tiddlywiki. Thinking of OneNote... that might be a cute little TiddlyWiki app.. where you'd integrate a sound recording flash object... which allowed you to store recordings locally... or even upload the bunch to some remote server. As for Commercial Software (useful for private individuals), the pieces I find most valuable (at the moment) are: *Babylon *MindManager Tobias. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
