People have busy lives. They use short-cut thinking. If you have a product name that says, in their vernacular, "not a serious product", they will ignore it. Their thinking is rational, though subconscious: "If the author gives the product a non-serious name, the author must not be serious about the product." To about 350 million English speaking people, "tiddler" doesn't mean "small fish".
