For your second question: Have you seen the
editIncludedTiddlerCommand?
(http://tiddlywiki.abego-software.de/#
[[abego.editIncludedTiddlerCommand%20%28Experimental%29]])

This allows you to add:
1. <div class='subtitle' macro='view includeURL'></div> in your
[[ViewTemplate]], so that you can see immediately when a tiddler comes
from the included file; and
2. editIncludedTiddler in [[ToolbarCommands]], so that you can goto
the included tiddler (in it's own file).
