Freelinks plugin doesn't exactly do the same thing. it identifies, in the 
source tiddler, a freelink whereas TWCrossLinks find them in the 
destination tiddler

my issue with Freelinks plugin is that, as the TW goes bigger, it will get 
slower very fast. but I can definitely see them as complementary as you are 
saying


I am trying to shape out a solution
