This post is written for the purpose of helping TW to grow.

I have been aware of TW for a number of years.

I have been fascinated with it and I actually love it.

But I never managed to get going with it.

My reasons are:
1. The famous [infamous?] learning curve of how to actually use it - it can
dazzle the mind very quickly.

2. The GUI - In my last attempt to use TW I suddenly realise that the first
thing I always do when I retry to use TW is change the GUI. I never
realise but I think subconsciously I do not like the TW’s GUI and *mainly
*there’s
something wrong with the side bar being on the right. Then I failed to find
the way to put the side bar on the left. And I got tired of asking you guys
stupid questions so again I gave up my TW endeavour. [I know one can change
the appearance to one’s liking - TW is extremely flexible - see my first
point....][and *the community is great* but it is tiring always to have to
ask what one knows are silly questions]

3. This one is the real discovery that thanks to HomelabOS I realised to be
the real issue for me: It is very difficult for a person who is not tech
minded and who uses different devices to have one TW centrally served on
all devices. For someone who does not know how to set up a server and make
it secure - or who does not have the time to go and learn how to do that -
this is the real deal breaker.

So yesterday I installed HomelabOS on a digital ocean droplet

And Looking at their available software I was so glad to see TW

It was the first service i enabled.

How happy I was to have my TW easily available on my iPhone and my iPad?? I
was delighted.

Even the normal GUI - which as I said i think needs some changes - became
acceptable because I could actually use my TW anywhere!! And in fact the
GUI looks rather nice on an iPad and iPhone.

My experience leads me to think [and therefore to take the time to write
this post] that if TW is to become the success that it clearly can be [as
it does provide something amazing!!] the point of ease of use on different
devices must become top of the list issue to work out.

I hope this post is not read as a negative post - it certainly isn’t meant
that way.
I wrote this post because I do want this community to succeed. I think you
folk have amazing product. It just needs to be accessible.

Cheers
