well, that's why I asked if there is some manual or tutorial for that thing in the first place... :)) The basic articles on https://tiddlywiki.com <https://tiddlywiki.com/#EditTextWidget> provide very little in terms of "learning". In most of the cases it's just simple description of fields and parameters useful to those who already know how to deal with them. With 1-2 simple basic examples at best. 90% of info I'm getting in terms of learning is either searching this forum or asking people who know "how to do stuff" here. I read the $list and $tiddler descriptions (actually I read all of those: https://tiddlywiki.com/#Widgets) before asking here but it didn't help me much. As about being dismissive I was dismissive not about the tool but about my understanding of that tool.
