Another thought: why couldn't you call the toggle transclusions when the 'wide' tiddler is rendered? The problem I see is how to get them back when the tiddler closes or a non-'wide' tiddler is rendered. Last idea: has anyone experimented with some CSS to allow a rendered tiddler to overlap either or both sidebars? With RearrangeTiddlersPlugin (and not single page mode) the user could move the tiddler up or down to see the hidden parts of the sidebars OR toggling the 'wide' tag on/off could restore the visibility of the sidebars OR some option could allow the tiddler to have a horizontal scrollbar (I'm not a fan of that approach). I guess the real question is: is the priority to render the tiddler in as wide a space as possible and push all distractions out of the way to do so or is the priority to make as much room available for a wide tiddler by removing all distractions? There is a subtle difference. In the first case the tiddler has the power to push stuff out of its way or cover stuff with itself. In the second case, the environment accommodates the needs of the special tiddler. Kind of like the difference between 'push' and 'pull'. Am I the only person who thinks there's a difference or is it just late and I need to go to bed now? Just spitballing, as usual. Let us know what solution works for you. I am interested. Craig
