With help and guidance from Eric I created a simple database in
tiddlywiki for storing students' class records last summer.

http://classrecords.tiddlyspot.com/

It is based upon the unamesa style form (also by Eric), in which a
tiddler shows an input form in edit mode and the data entered in the
view mode. Each record is a tiddler of its own, and some tiddlers have
inline script for generating customised lists. You can get ideas from
this application. There are many small tricks in there, which were
fresh in my mind back then, but not so much now.
