I am sorry to not have a real answer. I wonder if using a field would serve you better. Then you could just enter specifically the path. Unless you are using numbers or alphabet I don't see how you can get the right order of tags to produce the desired path. Ie getting a path /dee/cee/fee/ack would be very difficult to get sorted in a list of tags. However using a field you would just enter the exact pathname and then reference it with a widget or transclusion.
