Sapphireslinger, Perhaps this helps?
In case like this make a tiddler that acts as a template for new expenses, including formulas separate from values entered. The create a new tiddler from that template when adding a new expense. I am working on a generic way to generate new tiddlers from templates, clone, spawn or generate child tiddlers so ths is at the forefront of my mind, not sure how long and if I publish publicly.
