David, I am only fluent in English and a little French but when I use the translator it is producing increasingly effective translations. There is an argument that you may only need to write in one language and review the translation in another (if you speak the language).
Then only when you must revise it, copy the translation and paste that into a language specific tiddler, making it much easier and quicker for bi-lingual like you. Apparently Google makes use of content out there in more than one language (ie translation examples) and machine learning to determine how best to translate. Its getting better all the time.
