FYI, I think the video source is from the doc 
https://tiddlywiki.com/#TaskManagementExample, and there is an enhanced 
version here : https://tiddlywiki.com/#TaskManagementExample%20(Draggable).

I agree with you, when I use this simple checkbox task manager, I don't 
want to see the first tag.
Maybe you can replace it with a field filter (and take opportunities to put 
some useful information).
