Hi Scott, I have added [!is[shadow]tag[Daily Log]] to '$:/config/sq/streams/stream-enable-filter' to only have it show up in my tiddlers tagged with 'Daily Log' (and restrict it to non-shadow tiddlers with the intent to speed things up but I don't think it makes a difference) and it works for me.
That config setting is used via a ViewTemplate located at '$:/plugins/sq/streams/stream-view-template' so maybe that got over-written or changed to ignore that config setting if it still doesn't work with valid subfilter.
