Problem is now solved going forward, quick fix courtesy of @davegifford 
-but now to clean up all those blank tiddlers that resulted from the Stroll 
default prior to override, this idea:

--prompted me to run " [field:text[]]" as Advanced Search, and there's the 
whole list of items i need to address.  Thanks @Chris !
