Ahh... NOW she's working -thanks to your patient support, Mohammed. Problem was not that i skipped any of your prescribed steps, but rather that i had inserted a save step -or few, actually:
1. after installing the plugin to my Test Wiki, 2. after installing the "index and export" script on Tiddlywiki.com -which of course necessitated saving that wiki to my localhost (herein lies the problem, i suspect)- and then 3. after dragging the exported index into my Test Wiki. Obviously i'm still not clear as to what sort of changes must be saved in order to become operational... But, can't say i care at this point: am too busy exploiting the potential of this wonderful plugin!
