Yes, and it's also, what you told it to do. The algorithm, has no chance to know, that you are not finished with editing yet. I've run into a similar problem yesterday, that caused an endless loop. In normal cases I just close the preview. But the first time ever, I needed to "kill" the browser tab. Which resulted in data loss of some changes. The good thing was, that reloading fixed the problem, since the erroneous code wasn't saved.
