I'm thinking this is cool enough to spawn a new thread from Diego's [IDEA] Advanced Edit Mode? <https://groups.google.com/g/tiddlywiki/c/8GqeHRYNR7g>
You'll find in the attached ZIP three tiddlers:
- Alt Edit Button.tid
- This adds a second Edit Button to tiddlers' ViewToolbar
- This button creates a temporary tiddler containing all field names
and field values of the current tiddler (to be edited) into the temporary
tiddler setup as a data tiddler, all original fields setup instead as
indexes.
- Then opens the Alternate Editor as a modal
- Altenate Editor.tid
- An edit text widget presents the text from the temporary tiddler,
so editing a JSON (not as excellent as editing a TID, but not so bad)
- Css Widgets.tid
- to make that edit text widget full width
So if you don't mind wrapping field names and field values with
double-quotes, this comes as close to what Diego was asking for (not bad
bang for the buck?)
