Thanks so much for your response. I finally understand what you are describing... I overthought it.
My original idea was to link to files in another folder. After a review of the tiddlytools, I am going to attempt file embedding. While this may cause file bloat, it would probably save me the most trouble because I will be copying the tw to multiple usbs and I don't want to have to deal with path issues.
