Sounds like you killed the node process running the TiddlyWiki server.

When you use TiddlyWiki on node.js, the node process needs to keep running.

If you just want to use the single file version you don't need node.js at 
all. You don't need to build TiddlyWiki you can get an already built file 
and set up a saving method, see https://tiddlywiki.com/#GettingStarted
