@Tony : the mechanism is a shortcut that shows a menu, in which menu items can invoke actions. If not a smart editor, then I at least think we have the opportunity to provide tools to make the editing experience smarter and more intuitive. The concept of a menu invoked by / or a similar shortcut is rather commonplace, so the UX should be familiar to most.
